Here is a list of Blogging Guidelines for you to follow as you write:
- Write in your own voice.
- Your topic must be appropriate to a general audience.
- Organize your ideas into paragraphs.
- Separate each paragaph with an empty line.
- Write at least 3 paragraphs.
- Include links to other web pages in your post.
- Include quotes when needed, and use the <blockquote></blockquote> tags to clarify that you didn't write the words.
- Link to the specific page you are referring to, not the main domain address.
- Use at least 2-3 links in your post.
- Include a graphic or video that relates to your subject to illustrate your post.
- Include a link in your text to the page where you find the photo or video.
- Do your blogging regularly, don't do it late or at the last minute.
- Use normal capitalization.
- Use normal spelling.
- Don't use any last names for students or other youth.
- Use tags to help search engines find your post.
